Serein

The art of the long road.

We build few cars. We build them slowly, in a stone atelier on a Dorset hillside, and we sign each one. Two hundred and twelve hands; three hundred and forty motor cars a year; no two the same.

Est. 1963 — third generation of the same family.

The Atelier

Made, not manufactured.

01 The veneer room — burr walnut, book-matched by eye, finished in oil.
02 The trim shop — seventeen hides per car, cut by one pair of hands.
03 The weave — carbon laid by hand for the Continental Lightweight seats.
04 The machine shop — brightwork turned on a lathe older than its operator.
